Registration in the electoral process for the formation of the Municipal Health Council (CMS) in Cuiaba has been extended until April 29 for participants from the following entities: “Organization of Specific Diseases and Diseases, the Human Rights Movement, Persons with Disabilities and Specific People’s Movements in the Health District”.
Those who are part of the above entities and who wish to participate in CMS can register to vote and vote until the 29th of this month. From 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, in person in the CMS Executive Secretariat room, located on the ground floor of the Municipal Health Secretariat (SMS), located in Rua Aníbal da Mata, 135, Duque de Caxias neighborhood.
The extension was necessary after the consultants analyzed the patterns and realized that there were no entities in the user section in the above representations. “We decided to extend the deadline for registration to ensure parity in the composition of the Council,” revealed the Vice-President of the Council and a member of the Electoral Commission, Julio Garcia.
The vice president explained that the CMS is the main body for setting and supervising public health policies at the municipal level, and therefore, the presence of citizens of all groups is of paramount importance. “Social participation is a very important step, an openness given in the Federal Constitution of 1988. Social control is one of the best tools within public policies and is implemented by users, workers, managers and all entities that make up a unified health system,” he said.
Documents required for registration
To apply, you need to submit the following documents:
– Minutes of incorporation of the entity / institution, with at least two years of registration in the notary’s office;
– Minutes of the election and installation of the last plate registered in the notary’s office;
Statutes of the entity/organization duly registered in the notary office;
– an official document of the entity/institution designating the representative capable of voting, in accordance with Clause 1, Art. 2 of the electoral cohort; And
– An official document from the entity/institution specifying the names of the representatives (main and alternate) for the formation of the Municipal Health Council, Administration 2022-2024, who will assume their positions in this Act, if the entities/institutions are elected.
The electoral cohort for the elections is available to interested parties since February 21, in the room of the Executive Secretary of the Municipal Health Council.
Voting will take place in the auditorium of the Municipal Health Department of Cuiaba (address given above), from 2 pm to 4 pm on May 16, 2022. Only representatives of the indicated entities and/or institutions will be able to access the venue, as provided for in the regulations electoral.
