The new ruler of Santa CatarinaAnd the Jorginho Milo (PL) and his deputy, Marlisa Boehm (PL), sworn in on Sunday, 1. The ceremony took place at the seat of the Legislative Assembly of Santa Catarina, in Florianópolis. The inaugural celebration program began with an ecumenical service at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Florianópolis.
In his speech, the governor emphasized commitment to health in the state, and confirmed the first meeting of the new governor tomorrow at seven in the morning. The meeting will be with the Minister of Health, Carmen Zanotto, to present an action plan for the issue of elective surgeries in Santa Catarina.
In his speech, Jorginho Mello celebrated the right of Santa Catarina and Bolsonaristas, but stressed the obligation to be “the ruler of the relationship”. “I will be open to listening and understanding every fact. Like any man, I have my own convictions, preferences, and values. But as governor, it is my duty to absolutely listen to everyone and stand up for the people of Santa Catarina in all situations. This is the business of politics.”
The opening ceremony began with the formation of the Salads Table, composed by the Minister of the Supreme Court of Justice (STJ) Marco Pozzi. Commander of the 14th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, General Marcio Trindade; Senator Yvette da Silveira; and the President of the Court of Justice of Santa Catarina, Judge Joao Enrique Blasi; Attorney General of the Public Prosecution Office of Santa Catarina, Fernando Comín; Representatives Mauricio Escudlarek (PL) and Kennedy Nunes (PTB).
The new governor of Santa Catarina was then sworn in, as was his deputy, and then signed his term of office. With that, Alesc’s boss, Deputy Moacir Sopelsa (MDB), announces that Jorginho and Marilisa are sworn in.
