id.gov.pt is a mobile application that allows you to save, consult and share via mobile phone (smart phone), data of identity documents available in the application, for example: citizen card and driver's license.
The digital documents in the id.gov.pt application have the same validity as the original documents, and this validity can be checked through the id.gov.pt application installed on another mobile device.
How do you give a copy of your citizen card?
CC is one of the documents you can get in the id.gov.pt application. CC is a physical identification document that contains a chip (smart card), and allows the identification of the person holding the card, as a person of Portuguese nationality, in front of any public or private entity, in person or digital.
To share your CC data, simply go to the id.gov.pt app, access your citizen card and then use the share option. Then choose the PDF export option.
And it's that simple. The user will be able to access a document containing the master data of the CC and others he wants to add. The document also contains the photo on the citizen's card and its signature.
