During the special broadcast of Big Brother on Monday, April 22, Claudio Ramos could not contain his tears when announcing the reasons for Sergio Duarte's “withdrawal”.
The competitor left the most watched house in the country “for force majeure reasons at the professional level.”
The special broadcast began with a confessional with Sergio Duarte, where the competitor had the opportunity to justify his departure.
“I have to leave the game. Not by my will, but that's how it should be. I'm happy that I gave a performance that would definitely make the people there proud of me,” he began to explain.
Claudio Ramos said: “I am very sorry that this is the end of his game (…) Sergio is a very good player, he devotes himself to the game and is not afraid of challenges.”
The Big Brother presenter was visibly emotional as he bid farewell to the competitor.
The host also made sure to leave a few words for the competitor: “I will not consider your departure as a withdrawal. Sergio has never been, never will be, and never will be a quitter. Force majeure means you have to make that decision to leave…”
