Hulk and Gabigol arrested on social media: ‘If I were a place, I’d go straight to the police station’ – Brazil

Hulk and Gabigol starred in a heated exchange of words on social networks, which is closely monitored by many Brazilians. Originally, it was all a show of the former Porto player in a match between Atlético MG against Curitiba (2-2). Hulk fouled Willian Farias, many talk about aggression but ended up punishing the attacker ‘only’ with a yellow card. Gabigol, the Flamengo striker, took to social media to comment on what happened: “(I’d get) a red card, 25 suspension matches…and (I was going) straight to the police station for the assault.'” The former Benfica player wrote.

Hulk disliked the comment and responded in Instagram Stories: “When the photo stops the angle can look more like it really is. A clear foul, and in my opinion by the referee and VAR, it was a yellow card.”, he wrote.

But it didn’t stop there: “My focus is to appear in the media, do my best on the pitch and help my team. To be visible.”

Meanwhile, Gabigol took advantage of a follower’s post – “Gabigol talked about the media and arbitration, not the Hulk” – to shoot: “He doesn’t explain the script,” he explained with a laughing emoji, giving an understanding that Hulk didn’t understand what he had written.
