Health and Education is preparing for the vaccination campaign in 9 education centers and five schools, starting from Monday (29)

With the aim of protecting more municipal children and updating the vaccination handbook for young children from 0 to 3 years old, the Health and Education Secretariats will begin, starting Monday (29), an exclusive vaccination campaign for children enrolled in nine Early Childhood Education Centers (CEIs) and five city-run schools.

Negotiations were decided by the directors of the two departments last Tuesday (23), and the preliminary schedule concluded on Friday (26). The direct coordination of the work is the municipal health monitoring group, which consists of nurses and vaccinators. According to the sector manager, Caroline Damazio Zapote Martins, it has been tentatively agreed to vaccination in 9 international educational centers, which will receive the attendance of Zé Gotinha and the immunization teams.

On this occasion, a brochure conference will be held in day care centers and the polio vaccine (droplets) will be applied. Meanwhile, in schools (Vittorio Marcon, Santo Andre, Stanislaw Jadzynski Filho, Dom Anselmo Petrola, Pecino Poligare) he will also check student records and apply basic calendar vaccinations, as well as vaccination against Covid-19,” Caroline details.
