This unusual situation was revealed by a passenger who filmed the moment when Rip Van Winkle woke up and realized that the plane was on the airport runway. This made the man believe that he had already reached his destination. According to the New York Post, the passenger was later informed that the plane had not yet taken off.
“We thought this was funnier than what he did. Sorry, we haven’t left yet,” Fiona Wiseman, a passenger on the plane, wrote in the caption of the video she shared on TikTok. The photos ended up going viral.
