oh Prince Harry believes his children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will never feel “at home” in the UK because it is impossible to “keep them secure” in the country.
In 2020, Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they would no longer be part of the senior British royal family (‘Mexit’) and would therefore continue to lead independent lives.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex later moved to America, where they currently reside – Montecito, California.
Such allegations by King Charles III’s youngest son were made at a High Court hearing this Thursday, December 7, as part of legal action against the United Kingdom’s Home Office.
“England is my home. The UK is the center of my children’s heritage and I want them to feel as at home as they do in America. If it’s not possible it won’t happen. It’s safe to be on British soil.”Duke said in a statement read to the court.
Harry is reportedly contesting the February 2020 decision, which stipulated that the prince would not receive “the same level” of personal security protection during his visits to the UK.
