Google’s Android 15 will help detect issues on smartphones

Android 15 will change some things on smartphones and bring new tools to the devices. These new features are still being prepared to appear in the final version that will be released at the end of the summer. A new one has been discovered and it shows that Android 15 will give users the ability to diagnose issues on smartphones.

There are tools that have been in demand for a long time for Android.  This system has many components that make users want ways to diagnose problems and even predict them, if possible.  Tests exist and some external applications provide them in an indirect and integrated way on smartphones.
Google now wants to change this scenario and is preparing to introduce a new feature in this area in Android 15. Testing and evaluation of some components of the smartphone will finally appear, and will be available to help users detect abnormal situations.







Google offers simple help for smartphones
Although the feature is not yet available, this new diagnostics menu was discovered using some research and forced the setting to appear in Android 15 Beta 3. It has been rolled out on the Google Pixel and the feature appears to be present in the Settings app under the device name.  The Diagnostics menu will have two different options, with “Component Health” and “Evaluation Mode”.
As for the differences between the two, the former will allow you to run tests on the device, while the latter will allow you to use one device to run tests on other units.  In terms of the types of diagnostic tools available, display tests will be one of them, along with tests to check the phone's battery and internal storage.  You will be able to see details such as the number of battery cycles and the amount of time remaining in terms of storage life.

Through the results obtained, users can immediately detect problems in their smartphones.  Furthermore, Android 15 should be able to provide data that can indicate abnormal situations in the future, which will help users predict problems.
This new feature is expected to come with the launch of Android 15 from Google.  It will serve as an essential aid to users, who can better recognize their smartphones and prevent abnormal situations that may arise in the future.
