Google chatbot is a “pathological liar,” employees say

Google is lagging behind in the artificial intelligence race. After ChatGPT exploded in the community, Google started chasing the damage and introduced Bard… chatbot with many limitations. Now that everyone can test it, Googlers say the system is useless and a “pathological liar.”

Google's chatbot Bard was announced (apparently) in haste, after it had been in testing within the company for some time before becoming available to the general public.
At the time of the announcement, there were those who noticed that in detecting the operation of the service based on artificial intelligence, the information provided by Bard was wrong.  Then there was news that the employees who were working on the project were dissatisfied, because it had already been submitted.

The article notes that Bard shares, for example, serious advice such as instructions for landing or diving planes.
In testimony from an employee, he called the system "worse than useless" and asked not to launch it.  Even more serious is the suggestion that Google is "ignoring the results of the risk assessment," conducted by the Homeland Security team, which recommended that the system would not be ready for launch.
For all that has been described, Bard is already available, and is still in the testing phase, and there is a caveat regarding this fact.  However, accelerating such a powerful AI-based system could damage Google's reputation in the technology sector itself.
