On August 17, Fiocruz Pra Você 2024 will take place in Salvador, a national event of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), which will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in Parque Joventino Silva (Parque da Cidade). The main focus of the activity is on immunization and is in line with the National Vaccination Movement of the Ministry of Health.
On this occasion, the Municipal Health Department of El Salvador will provide vaccines from the schedule recommended by the National Immunization Program, as well as animal rabies antidotes. Actions such as practical demonstrations, interactive exhibitions and health promotion services will also be carried out for the general public, especially the surrounding communities, with approximately 5,000 visitors expected.
Fiocruz pra Você is an event promoted by the Foundation since 1994, focusing on vaccination, cultural activities, scientific dissemination and health promotion. The project aims to integrate and engage with communities, promoting science, fun and solidarity.
