A task force to combat dengue fever will be held on Friday (10) in several neighborhoods of Betim, in the BH metropolitan area. The goal is to eradicate outbreaks of Aedes aegypti, the vector for dengue fever and other viruses, such as Zika and Chikungunya.

According to information from the city council, from 8 am, customers will travel through the areas with the highest prevalence in the municipality, According to data from the recent rapid survey of Aedes aegypti indices (LIRAa), which indicates that the municipality is on alert for a disease epidemic.

The residences will be visited in the selected blocks in the regions of Alterosas, Centro, Citrolândia, Imbiruçu, Norte, PTB, Teresópolis and Vianópolis.
