Workshop Morphological and motor assessment in sport horses.
On the 17th of February Workshop The “Morphological and Kinematic Assessment in Sporting Horses” brought together 30 participants at the Alter Stud farm, including equestrians, animal production technicians, veterinarians, educators, and students. Renowned international speakers in this field of knowledge participated in it, from the universities of Utrecht (Netherlands), Uppsala (Sweden) and Cambridge (UK), as well as local speakers. The goal was achieved to emphasize, on the one hand, the importance of movement evaluation in the creation and use of the sport horse and, on the other hand, to introduce the latest technology used for this purpose, which can be seen for the high participation of the participants from the most diverse regions of the country and for the satisfaction of which they appeared in the covered contents.
This was another one Workshop Implemented within the scope of EQUIMAIS – Best Equine Production Project, led by the University of Évora and in partnership with the Polytechnic Institutes of Portalegger and Santarém.
