EasyJet will now connect Faro and Southampton (with flights from €48)

Weekly flights to the city begin in the UK in summer 2024. You can now book your place online.

From 6 June, easyJet will have a new route connecting Faro to Southampton in the UK. The company announced on Tuesday, November 7, that there will be one flight per week (on Thursday) between each destination.

In this part of England, there is a lot you can do. Every day different shows take place around the city, there is no shortage of museums and, of course, good restaurants. You can also practice water sports and discover dozens of parks there. Tour prices start from €48 and you can book now Connected.

This is one of the first new features easyJet is unveiling for 2024, but you don’t need to wait that long to fly to a new destination on the low-cost airline. At the end of October and the beginning of December, the company opened many other offers.

On October 29, for example, I was able to fly between Porto and Marrakesh. The next day, the link between Copenhagen (in Denmark) and the capital was opened. Other recent options include: Lisbon to Agadir (Morocco), Porto to Pisa (Italy), and Funchal to Geneva (Switzerland).

As of December 9, the company will also operate flights from the capital, Madeira, to Basel (also in Switzerland). Flights will be twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Prices start from 33 euros.

With the opening of the new route, the airline reinforces its commitment to “offering more diverse routes to Portuguese and increasing the number of tourists coming to Portugal, thus contributing to the growth of the national economy,” highlights José Lopez, President of Portuguese Airlines. General Manager of the company in Portugal.
