This morning Mara Spinola, former contestant of Casa dos Segredos, was present on Dois aos 10, where she told us about her life and recalled her experience on the TVI reality show.
The competitor began emotionally recalling her entry and performance at home. He admitted that it was a unique experience and that he misses “Voz” very much.
After leaving the show, Mara Spinola had some problems being recognized on the street by her fans: “At first it hurt me a little. After a while, I changed, and I was no longer red-haired, but now blonde. “Now I feel like they don’t recognize me that much anymore. It’s calmed down.” “A lot of people followed me home and hid behind cars to find out where I lived. I was truly a star.”
Entering the program opened doors for Mara professionally, but she later became unemployed: “I haven’t worked for a few years. I took some training courses.” She now works as a patient manager at a cosmetic clinic.
In a conversation with Cristina Ferreira and Claudio Ramos, Mara ended up talking about her twin sister, Petra Spinola, and revealed what the life of the former Secret Story competitor is like: “My sister is an English teacher in Sintra.”
Mara Spinola made another surprising discovery! The former competitor revealed that she started dating Fabio again, who is also a former competitor, with whom she began a relationship inside Casa dos Segredos. The two broke up after 5 years of participating in the program, but they met again recently: “We were together again, for 3 months, without anyone knowing.”
