Deborah SA She was a guest on the program “Goucha” on Monday, January 15, live on TVI.

The presenter has been away from television since leaving Porto TV in 2021: “I thought I would end my career at Porto Canal. I'm not a very ambitious person, I like to be happy, and happiness is not only about work, it's also important to have some time, to be close to home, and emotional pay, so I have a series of requirements“, he started by saying.

“And I was very happy in the Porto Canal. Every day I went to work happy, the house was full, as they say. And Julio [Magalhães] Many of my friends came out and I sometimes said to them: Don't you want to see what the new leadership will propose? Even the new management relied on me, and I had high self-esteem and said: “I am a good professional.” (…) But then they told me that entertainment was over, that is, what I did for six years and I felt like I was growing up“, he continued.

“From one moment to the next, my dreams that it was a project, that it was a new direction, were interrupted. When I realized that this was a solid project and the entertainment ended there, I said: “So, what am I going to do?” I felt high and now I stop here. what should I do? Will I work in the job?“, he added.

Regarding her voluntary exit from the channel, Deborah Sa admitted: “It was very difficult. I thought: If we are so good, there is no way we can be ignored, which is a stupid idea. This does not happen. (…) I may never do what I love again“.

Débora Sá currently works in corporate communications consulting. be seen here the video.
