The Municipality of Divinópolis, through the Municipal Health Department (Simoza), held today (21/8) at 9 am the reopening of the health unit in the neighborhood of Niteroi, after several improvements with the aim of providing more convenience for community users.

The work included replacement of the station structure and roof, general repainting of the property, replacement of water tanks on the upper slab and repairs to the electrical and hydraulic networks. Improvements with the allocation of parliamentary amendments, which are popularly called non-positive, were carried out by councilors Yisrael Mendonca (R$50,000), Nei Borguer (R$20,000) and Eduardo Azevedo (R$10,000), for a total of R$80,000. .

With positive modifications available, City Hall hired the responsible firm to carry out the renovation and revitalization of the space. The Minister of Health, Alan Rodrigo, thanked the administration for the work done and spoke about the purpose of the reform. “I cannot remember a municipal administration that has reformed so many sanitary units as this one has. The goal is to improve this environment more and more, which is to welcome the residents in a dignified manner and above all our team so that they have suitable working conditions,” he stressed.

The Deputy Mayor and Minister of Government, Janet Aparecida, spoke of the importance of taking care of the health of the municipality. “It is our pleasure to offer this renovated space, to care for and serve the communities. He promised that we will always continue to listen to the residents, looking for improvements to the health units in our municipality!”.

The Mayor of Divinopolis, Gladson Azevedo, spoke of his satisfaction in contributing to the improvement of the health of the municipality “It is a pleasure to have such a healthy space. And strive to improve the municipality,” he said.

The council member, née Borgir, thanked the partnership and expressed his satisfaction at contributing to the development of the Niteroi neighborhood and the southeastern area of ​​the municipality. “Thank you for the partnership, we need to work for good things, the community not only in Niterói, but in the entire southeastern region we are keen on representation, health has improved more and more in our municipality and we will continue to work for that,” he said.

The reopening ceremony was also attended by the Director of Primary Health Care, Geraldo Lucas, and the Niteroi Health Unit Supervisor, Michele Pereira-Braz, who thanked the department for its commitment to health and revitalization of space in the Niteroi neighbourhood.
