Britta Gill took to Instagram to update fans on her health after her sudden hospitalization. The singer, who is being treated for bowel cancer, was hospitalized for dehydration and ended up discovering sepsis, which caused her to stop cancer treatment for a few weeks.

In a video shared on Instagram, the artist explains that she has been missing out on social media to deal with health complications. “Unfortunately, last month I could not be here to tell you how I was, because I had already gone through an unexpected event, which was quite frightening, which made it impossible for me to come and tell you the news,” she began.

“I already apologize for the disappearance, but it was due to force majeure, I got really bad. On the 22nd, I felt bad at home, my doctors told me to go to the hospital – I was dehydrated at first. But the next day, on the third On the 20th, I developed sepsis, which is a septic shock caused by bacteria that entered my body,” he revealed.

She also said that the disease, most likely, originated through the catheters used for chemotherapy: “There is some possibility of these bacteria entering my body, and the most latent, which most doctors have found, was through the catheter.
