Actor Vincent Martella, who gave life to the character of Greg in the comedy series, shared a photo on social media wearing a T-shirt with the phrase “I am famous in Brazil” written on it. On the other hand, the Brazilians combined to make Martella, who at the time had just over 200,000 followers, surpass the series' hero, actor Tyler James Williams, who had 2.3 million followers.
In about 48 hours, Vincent Martella has gained over 2.3 million followers and has now surpassed Tyler James Williams, meaning the goal set by the Brazilians has been exceeded.
It is worth noting that Tyler angered some Brazilians when, a few years ago, he expressed his dissatisfaction at being “bombarded” with countless comments, written in Portuguese, with his phrases from the series. The actor even blocked some of these messages, as he admitted in an interview.
In Portugal, “Todos Contra o Chris” was shown on RTP. The series is written by Chris Rock, and tells some funny episodes that the American comedian experienced during his childhood and adolescence.
