Brazilian experts in smartphones and mobile technologies evaluated the new Samsung Galaxy A53 5G phone*, part of the new Galaxy A line, was developed to democratize Galaxy technologies introduced into high-end devices.

Junior Nannetti, from Loop Infinito, rates the new A53 5G with 8GB RAM for the device, 120Hz refresh rate1as well as testing multiple images in Object Erasertwo. “It’s not magic, it’s technology,” he joked, after erasing a taped box on the floor of the photo.

“It’s a very good refresh rate and display for a mid-range smartphone,” Portella says. It also highlights the A53 5G’s sound, showing that Samsung is one of the few companies to put stereo sound on mid-range smartphones.

Gesiel passed on the impressions of the A53 5G screen, noting that it gained more color3 and contrast, a difference between the product and other devices in the category. However, it was the 120Hz refresh rate that pleased me. This innovation compares to that of previous Galaxy A models: “The 120Hz rate feels great when you touch the device. It’s amazing,” he says.
Gesiel also liked the A53 5G operating system, which comes out of the box with Android 12 and the latest version of One UI, One UI 4.14with up to four guaranteed updates for a single user interface and operating system, plus up to five years of security updates.

Alan unpacked the A53 5G where he also explained that the smartphone is leaving the factory with the latest software versions, testing every sensor on the device and showing the difference between one lens and another. He also liked the smartphone’s matte back, “which hardly catches fingerprints.”

André highlights the smooth screen movement thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate of the Galaxy A53 5G. “This display with stereo sound provides a great combination of multimedia consumption, and enables you to watch videos, play a game and everything else,” he says. André also explains that the display is very similar to that of the Galaxy S21 5G or Galaxy S21 FE 5G series, “it’s an average smartphone with a very nice screen display ball,” he concludes.
