Antonio Pedro Cerdera on the relationship: “We evaluate whether we are still together”

Antonio Pedro Cerdera She has no hand to measure when it comes to work. Between soap operas, serials and plays, the actor admits that he is rarely unemployed, and this does not mean that he is not always aware of the seriousness of the profession. “The truth is that I don’t like being unemployed for a long time, without a job, because there comes a time when you don’t know if you’re on vacation or unemployed. Fortunately, I can’t complain too much, I’ve always worked regularly. One series for RTP, one for Opto, and now I’m recording the new TV series SIC and at the end of the year I’ll have two plays. I’m one of those people who is happy to work, ”explained the actor, whom we spoke with at the opening of the Karina Light Institute.

If his career has been going smoothly, his love life, he has had its ups and downs, and now, after seven years together, the actor and Susana Silva She is in the process of evaluation and consideration of the union. “I’m in a more lonely phase. It’s life’s choices. I’m not really separated, but we evaluate what we want and whether or not we want to stay together,” he admits.

However, Antonio Pedro Cerdera says he feels calm, accepting these lower quality stages: “Relationships have years of wear and tear, and sometimes it’s good to take a moment to breathe. Perhaps the so-called seven-year crisis…we are friends and friendship prevails. Now we give time to time. There are no other people, there is nothing concrete, but sometimes it is good to evaluate what we want. I like to live alone, from my loneliness. I do not know if it is about age, but I live very well With my dog. Of course, that’s a bit selfish, but that’s how it is… The truth is I’m great and I feel like I’m in a very good stage, both personally and professionally.”

At 52, he says, feeling increasingly comfortable in his own skin, the actor also told us why he decided to undergo blepharoplasty three months ago: “I don’t really like getting older and fortunately I don’t think I’m bad for my age, but I did feel a droop I bled, leaving me half-blind. I was very happy with the result, the goal was not to look younger, but to feel good. Knowing that my work also lives out of the picture, I have to be careful. If I’m careful with what I eat, and if I’m exercising, it makes sense that I should also have another kind of care. I like to look in the mirror and feel good.”
