Have you talked to Bebe yet? Where are you?
Andre Villas-Boas – Yes, it was a private conversation with the player. Naturally, I didn’t want to announce it. What I conveyed to Pepe, in a way, which makes sense, is that his entire future is closely linked to FC Porto, both emotionally and even professionally. As far as his continuity as a FC Porto player is concerned, that is not going to happen, and the reasons why it is unfortunately not going to happen to him have been well explained. However, we have the utmost respect for your career.
How did you justify that? Why can’t it happen?
AVB – There is a different path and there is also interest, in a certain way, on the part of the new club Porto in reducing wages and costs. This was clearly explained to Pepe and he understood it that way. He will make the decision that he understands regarding his career and the doors of FC Porto will always be open to him.
