News

Despite the unveiling of this new generation of OLED screens with impressive dynamic range, this does not mean that this solution will actually be applied to the new Galaxy S23, which will be unveiled on February 1st.

In Las Vegas, during CES 2023, Samsung Display unveiled its first-generation OLED mobile displays, UDR 2000, featuring up to 2,000 nits of maximum brightness, independently certified by UL Laboratories ( insurance agent (laboratories), thus improving the dynamic range of the image reproduced by them.

Despite this disclosure that actually took place during the beginning of the year, this does not mean that this sub-brand, which belongs to the Samsung group, is already able to produce and provide units in sufficient quantities to allow its implementation in the new Samsung Galaxy. S23, which, in turn, should maintain the dimensions and characteristics of its predecessor.
