Alagoas has recorded 20 more deaths from Covid and 983 confirmed cases of the disease. The information appears in the Epidemiological Bulletin issued by the Minister of State for Health (Health) on Monday (28).
With the update, the total number of deaths of people infected with the coronavirus since the beginning of the epidemic has risen to 5,301. There are already 215,492 confirmed cases of the disease in the state.
Of those who tested positive for Covid, 206,214 were able to recover.
There are still 12,515 suspected cases awaiting laboratory test results.
The latest family bulletin, updated on Sunday (27), shows the state’s occupancy rate at 50%. Looking at ICU beds only for people with Covid, the occupancy rate is 77%.
Although he fell, The occupancy rate still worries researchers because it is still at a high level. Of the ten municipalities in Alagoas that have intensive care beds for Covid, six remain with an occupancy rate equal to or greater than 80%, with Arabiraca, Coruribe and Palmira dos Ondios registering at 100%.
