Antonio Cassano, 39, a former Italian player and former player for clubs such as Roma, Real Madrid and Milan, has contracted COVID-19 and spoke in a conversation with Christian Vieri on Twitch about the symptoms he has experienced.
“I had a fever and chills for two days. And because I didn’t know what to do, I went to the hospital. I did all the tests and in a CT scan we found the onset of pneumonia. Now I’m negative,” he began, before recalling the now outdated “nightmare.”
“I was treated in the hospital and in two days I was at home. This morning I finally left the house, after 20 days. I lost six kilograms, the first few days I was in pain all over. Now we are fine. Life goes on but with care, ”he said:
“I want to thank everyone who took care of me from the first moment and did an exceptional job. But not just with me, with everyone. We have to vaccinate. I’ve already received the two doses and as soon as I can I will take the third.”
