It’s all happening in Hertford!
From marvellous markets, beautiful boutique shops, and plenty of spots to grab a bite to eat or drink, it’s all happening in Hertford.
With all the history the county town has to offer, you can marvel at Hertford’s Arts Fund Prize shortlisted museum, stroll around the historic Hertford Castle grounds and be entertained at the newly re-furbished Hertford Theatre.
Saturday is market day and every month you can enjoy the best local produce when East Herts Council’s Farmers’ Market comes to town. From fresh fruit and veg, locally reared meat to speciality cupcakes, local tipple, plants and jewellery - there’s something for everyone.
Tickle your taste buds at our range of French, Italian, Indian, Thai, Chinese and good old fashioned English restaurants or grab some pub grub and a pint by the river.
There are also plenty of opportunities to get back to nature – take a wander along Hartham Common or enjoy a stroll along the River Lea tow path.
Whatever you’re scene, it’s all happening in Hertford and we’d love to see you!
