NS19-year-old Christopher Chaffee died of cancer after going to the doctor 12 times and was diagnosed (always) with anxiety.
The young man died 13 years ago and the case is now announced by his brother, according to which Christopher had several consultations with the GP and the diagnosis was always the same – anxiety. HullLive says the young man was referred to a psychiatrist.
However, one day, the 19-year-old discovered a tumor in his neck and was taken to the emergency room at Castle Hill Hospital, 15 months after he first went to the doctor due to symptoms attributed to concern.
But the day Christopher went to the hospital emergency room was already too late. The young man was diagnosed with aggressive non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and a tumor of about 4.5 cm in the chest. He ended up dying a week later.
Christopher’s brother, Michael Chaffee, 30, has now decided to run the London Marathon in his brother’s memory, hoping to raise awareness of cancer.
Christopher Chaffee, from the English county of East Yorkshire, was on The X Factor, he tells the international press.
An investigation into the case concluded that Christopher Chaffee’s tumor could have been diagnosed early.
